TAYLOR JOINS PRESTWICH

Prestwich FC are delighted to announce that experienced defender Paul Taylor has today signed for the Heys Road club. Having only recently left cross-town neighbours Prestwich Heys, where he was a regular first team player and Assistant Manager, Taylor quickly decided to join the football revolution here at PCTBC.

Pictured above holding aloft the Open Trophy for Heys a couple of season’s ago, Taylor’s career around the semi-pro circuit saw the defender play for clubs like Frickley Athletic, Chorley, Mossley, Woodley Sports and Salford City.

First team manager Lee Metcalfe was delighted with the signing. “Being able to bring Paul on board could prove to be massive for us,” said Metcalfe.

“We’ve got a very good squad but it’s a young squad, so with them now being able to call on Tayl’s vast experience and knowledge out on the pitch, it can only be good for the team and for the club as a whole.”
