CLUBHOUSE REFURBISHMENT

The Clubhouse/bar will be closed from Monday 15th March but re-opens on Friday evening 19th March. During this period the new bar and the fixed seating will be installed. The new furniture, decoration and carpeting will be completed week commencing 22nd March but the club will be open throughout this period.

The club is of course planning a formal opening and at the moment this will be probably in May. However, we are planning a members evening on Saturday 3rd April where members are invited to come and view the new facilities and celebrate their completion with a glass of champagne. There will be more news on this particular event over the next two weeks.

There are still ways of contributing to the scheme by buying named glass bricks (200 on sale … we have already sold 55) or joining the successful 300 club or by donating directly to the cost of the new furnishings. If you are interested please contact any member of the finance team or management committee.

Finally, can I take this opportunity to thank members who have donated over £10k to the club or loaned approximately £20k. The scale of your financial support is quite staggering.
