WINTER MIXED DOUBLES LEAGUE

Monday April 12th 2010 | Tennis

The inaugural season of the Winter Floodlit Mixed Doubles League which ran from October 2009 to March 2010 took place in the worst winter weather for thirty years, in spite of which, 46 of the scheduled 66 matches were played which was quite an achievement as the courts were under snow and ice for at least four weeks.

The winners were Deana Kaye and Jeremy Snyder, seen here flanking the league organizer Sylvia Mills, receiving their prizes of two tennis racquets.
