MINI TENNIS WINTER COACHING 2010/11

The Winter coaching programme will start on Saturday 2nd October 2010 and continue until Saturday 26th March 2011. The club has a high quality school/club link with Prestwich Arts College who allow us to have use of their Sports Hall for the two younger age groups.

Red (under 8 years old) – 9am to 10am
Orange (up to 10) – 10am to 11am
Green/Yellow (over 10) 11.15am to 12:15pm

Although children can bring their own racquets, there will be racquets available on free loan.

All coaching will be carried out by fully trained and LTA licensed or registered tennis coaches with CRB clearance and having undertaken both child protection and first aid training.

The cost per session will be £5 but five lessons can be pre-booked for £20.

Sessions are ‘open access’ open to both members and non-members alike.

It should be noted that both the RED and ORANGE sessions will take place in the sports hall of Prestwich Arts College which is directly opposite the Tennis Club entrance on Heys Road.

The GREEN/YELLOW ball session will take place on the club’s outdoor courts and is therefore subject to suitable weather.

The scheduled dates are as follows:

OCTOBER – 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th

NOVEMBER – 6th, 20th and 27th

DECEMBER – 4th and 11th

JANUARY – 8th and 15th

FEBRUARY – 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th

MARCH – 5th, 12th and 26th
