DARTS & DOMS WEEK 2

Sadly our opponents (Woolpack Radcliffe) pub had closed during the previous week and so our game was cancelled.
Many thanks to everyone who came back to our club, its good to support it

We held a mini comp at darts with 9 players split into two groups (5 & 4) played a round robin style one leg of 501, with the top two progressing.

I have to say it was a good practice with some wonderful darts and some woeful ones too.
Young Tom Gibson making a guest appearance was the surprise of the night showing some potential, despite saving his best game for me!
The eventual winner was Capt nemo (yours truly) beating John davies 2 -1 in the final.

This week Mon 18th we are at home to St Marys Social club 8.30 – please come and support and even enjoy a couple of butties made by the delightful Viv & Helen

the following week we are in the doms cup at TOP Bull – though I am hoping to rearrange a league fixture to make it a double header.

Now for the BAD news – darts player of the year John Davies is no longer able to play due to work commitments which leaves a big hole to fill – any takers?
