UNDER 11s CONTINUE PFC SUCCESS STORY

The game on Saturday lived up to all the expectations of a hard fought semi-final in the Chairmans Cup with a place in the final at Premiership sides Bolton Reebok Stadium at stake. Our under 11’s faced fellow division 1 side CMB Ace’s and in the first half Prestwich had most of the ball and were playing nice football but with no end product. The game was turning out to be one of the toughest games of the season by far with CMB fighting for every ball and making it very hard for our boys to penetrate the opposistions defence. Half time arrived with the score at deadlock 0-0.

The 2nd half was more of the same and changes needed to be made, Mark made a bold decision and even with Nathan still not 100% fit was reluctantly thrown on, and Callum pushed forward and what a differance this made to the game. It wasn’t long before Callum made it 1-0 with a sweet left shot into the bootom corner, Prestwich were now looking good and confidence was growing. A fantastic cross field ball from Callum found Nathan at the far post who strike an unstoppable shot into the back of the net. 2-0 an the boys were on their way to the Reebok Stadium.

Overall an exceptional performance from all the boys and a great day to look forward to on 28th May at the Reebok against Westhoughton Rangers. It will be great to get as much support down there as we can, keep an eye out for more details and kick off time nearer the date.
