ALL FOOTY OFF AT HEYS ROAD THIS WEEK

Following yesterdays rainstorm in Prestwich, there was obviously some quite severe flooding on the Heys Road football pitches, up to 6″ deep in some places.

It’s been the wettest summer on record – after a just as wet winter – so the already saturated field didn’t stand a chance.

We’ve decided to call off all senior and junior football activity on the field this week to hopefully allow it time to recover before the start of the season.

So can all senior and junior managers and coaches please contact their players and parents to either cancel your planned activity or make arrangements for an alternative venue.
