NEW MEMBERS WANTED

If you are a new visitor to this site and are thinking of joining a bowling club, then you must read on!

Our bowling section will be 100 years old in 2014 (our players aren’t that old though!) so our club is very well established. We have 10 teams playing during the week in various leagues:

• Mixed Middleton league – Sunday morning
• Men’s Eccles league – Monday/Friday evening
• Ladies’ Bury Parks league – Monday evening
• Men’s Prestwich Veterans league – Tuesday afternoon
• Mixed Salford league – Tuesday Evening
• Men’s Prestwich league – Wednesday evening
• Ladies’ Bury league – Thursday afternoon
• Ladies’ Prestwich league – Thursday evening

All teams would welcome new players.

Membership of the bowling section costs £6.00 for under 18 years, £24.00 for seniors and £21.00 for veterans (over 60 years). This includes a £15.00 social membership fee.

We have wonderful club house in an idyllic position, with a cricket ground, tennis courts, bowling green and good car parking. We are just around the corner from Prestwich Metro station and Bury New Road, and five minutes from the motorway.

There are fantastic Junior Cricket and Junior Tennis sections, and our Bowling section would be only too pleased to have some youngsters join us.

Even if you have never played the game of bowls we have professional coaches who can help you, and any member of our section would be only too pleased to take you on the green for a roll over (a crown green bowling terminology – please do not take that literally!)
