With a summer of tennis to look forward to Prestwich Tennis Club is pleased to welcome Paul Jepson as their new head coach. Paul is an LTA level 4 coach and has played County and National League tennis at singles and doubles for Lancashire.
Paul is familiar with the Club having stepped in to provide holiday cover for the Saturday morning junior sessions last summer. Paul came down to the Club last Saturday (25th May) to wish current coach Karen Bevan best wishes for the future as she leaves to focus on her young family and meet some of the junior attendees. The attached photo shows the 11am junior session with Karen and Paul pictured centre and level 1 coach Christian Millington on the far right.
Paul comments “I am delighted to be joining Prestwich Tennis Club as head coach and aim to build on the coaching already taking place and make full use of the excellent facilities at this lively Club. I will be working with the Club to run a full coaching programme including the mini-tennis / junior sessions on Saturday mornings, summer camps, beginner and refresher courses, one to one and squad coaching. I also want to develop links with local schools. Anyone interested in having lessons for themselves or their children can contact Paul directly on 07841 605244, via his website http://www.pb365.co.uk or pop down to the Club on Saturday morning.
