PRESTWICH THROUGH TO LANCASHIRE FINAL

Prestwich hit back to overcome Tottington United 6-4 in Saturday’s Lancashire Amateur Cup Semi-final at The County Ground in Leyland.

Craig Howarth’s men raced in to a 2-0 lead before a crazy 10 minute spell at the end of the first half saw Tottington go in 4-2 up at half time.

But a stirring second half display brought four goals without reply for the Heys Road side which sees them through to their first ever County Cup Final.

Prestwich will now face Standish St Wilfrids in the final which is scheduled to take place on Friday 14th March 2014, again at The County Ground in Leyland, kick off at 7:30pm.
