Heroes from the famous 2005 Ashes series, Steve Harmison and Simon Jones, will be joined by a host of fellow ex-internationals, including three Lancashire stalwarts Neil Fairbrother, Saj Mahmood and Phil DeFreitas, and Big Bash star Owais Shah.

There will be opportunities for photographs and autographs with the star players. The event will raise money for grassroots cricket and the LCCC Flood Line Appeal.

Prestwich are currently lying third in the GMCL Premier Division, and the team set to face the PCA England Masters is: Andy Bradley, Tom Gibson, Marty Walters, Ryan Stanbury, James Wharmby, Sam Holden, Ali Raza, Tom Scott, Nathan Bailey, Wilf Reeve, and Mike Finan.

Admission to the game is £5 per adult, with children free.

* There will be a practice session for the club’s junior members from 11am to 12.30pm on Friday, with some of the England stars in attendance.
