Panthers tournament success

On the hottest day of the year, Prestwich Panthers attended the Bolton Lads tournament where they battled all afternoon to lift the trophy.

Matters weren’t helped by the fact that they had to play back to back games three times with just a two minute break between but the boys showed great spirit to go through the group only letting one goal in.

In the final they played Adlington who also came out of the Pathers group. The group meeting between the sides finished 1-1 but in the final the Panthers played some great football to dominate in a 3-0 win.
