Cricket AGM

This year’s Cricket section AGM will be held on Monday 19th September at 7pm in the clubhouse.

It is imperative you attend as we will be presenting a new constitutional structure for your consideration. This will be the most significant change to the way we propose to run the section, but in line with the massive demands of such a successful cricket club, ever to be presented to our members. We will explain and debate the proposal at the meeting.

The committee believe that the structure will meet the operational and regulatory demands facing the cricket club now and in the future.

All members are asked to attend, both junior and seniors and, for information purposes, we invite parents of our juniors so they note the proposed changes.

Our club is run by volunteers, without whom there would be no future. In my opinion this proposal will ensure a wonderful future but will require a number of dedicated individuals to succeed. If accepted by the meeting these individuals, who have already volunteered, will be will be formalised into their positions.
