NEW CRICKET APP FOR YOUNGSTERS

A new free cricket app for children has been launched by the English Cricket Board (ECB).

It offers plenty of ideas to get active, learn new skills and keep the family entertained while in lockdown.

The Dynamos Cricket app is aimed at kids aged eight and over, featuring batting, bowling and fielding skills, games and interactive quizzes that they can do at home, without the need for a lot of space or equipment.

Nick Pryde, ECB Director of Participation and Growth, said: “Sport is clearly providing families with some much-needed relief during lockdown.

“As restrictions begin to ease, we hope the app will help kids to have fun whilst picking up some cricket skills.”
