When the Club was 150 not out

In 1990, the club marked its 150th anniversary with a series of celebratory events.

The picture opposite heralded one of those events – a challenge match between the Over-40s and the Under-40s.

The photograph was featured on the back page of the Prestwich & Whitefield Guide with the headline: “Howzat! 150 not out”
