Under 9 Indoor Cup winners

Prestwich Under 9s won the annual Bury Indoor Tournament last Sunday in a last over thriller.

Facing a talented Ramsbottom side, the scores were tied on 111 with just 4 balls remaining, and Prestwich only secured victory off the final delivery.

This is the third time Prestwich have lifted the six-a-side trophy since its recent innovation.

Played at Castle Leisure Centre in Bury, Prestwich won all 3 games in the early rounds before defeating Walshaw in the semi-final. This set up a final showdown with Ramsbottom, and was superbly contested by both teams.
