Become a junior cricket coach

The cricket section is looking to recruit more volunteer coaches to help with junior training and the running of its junior teams

The club operates more junior teams than it has ever done before, and we are in need of more coaches and assistant coaches to continue providing numerous children with the opportunity to learn, practice and play the game.

Our flourishing junior set-up has been at the core of the club’s successes in recent years at senior team level.

A number of ECB (English Cricket Board) coaching courses are being organised by Lancashire and set to take place during the winter and spring period. They are: Support Coach, Foundation 1 Coach and Core Coach. Suitability for a course will depend on experience and knowledge.

The club will fund the cost of the course with the expectation that they will be available to coach juniors on Friday nights during the season and, where possible, assist with a team.
