Three from three for Heat

Prestwich Heat continued their winning start to the T20 season with a 7 wicket win over Bury Bullsharks earlier this evening.

Professional Nico Van Zyl (above) had a great day with the ball, taking 5 wickets for just 5 runs from his 4 overs as the visitors set Heat a target of 120 to win.

Stuart Els (24) and Sam Kershaw (28) got the Prestwich reply off to a great start before skipper James Wharmby (27*) and Van Zyl (28) took their team to the brink of victory.

Tom Gibson’s (5*) boundary back down the ground sealed the three points in the 17th over.
